Research activities

  • Research project in Jodrell laboratory (Royal Botanic Gardens Kew) on the global phylogeny of the genus Heliotropium (Boraginaceae) under supervision of Prof. Hossein Akhani, Prof. Mark Chase and Prof. Michael Frohlich (2008).

  • Contributing in the Floristic study of Southwest Iran (Khuzestan province) with emphasis on the ecosystems around the Petrochemical complexes to save the natural vegetation of the area by evaluating the importance of vegetation for that area and consequences of human activities on the environment of plants and people (2009-2010).

  • Research assistant in Botany and Biodiversity Research Lab, University of Tehran (2007-2010)

  • Teacher assistant in botanical laboratory for 2 academic years, University of Tehran (2006-2007)
